New North Carolina Poll: Clinton 44, Obama 42(a stunning upset in the making???)
Insideradvantage ^

Just got an email from Insideradvantage's latest NC poll, not on their website yet.

April 30, 2008 — A survey of 571 registered likely voters in North Carolina’s May 6 Democratic primary shows Sen. Hillary Clinton having moved from a double digit deficit in an InsiderAdvantage poll taken in mid-April to a two point lead over Sen. Barack Obama in this telephone survey, conducted April 29. The survey was weighted for age, race, gender, and political affiliation. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.8% The results were: April 30(April 13) Hillary Clinton: 44% (36%) Barack Obama: 42% (51%) Undecided: 14%

Prior to his appearance on FoxNews Network’s “Hannity & Colmes,” on which the poll was released, InsiderAdvantage’s Matt Towery noted: “The shift has come almost entirely from white voters age 45 and over. There was a small drift of African-Americans back towards Clinton, but not so significant as to establish any trend.

“I believe when all is said and done, Obama will likely carry North Carolina; or if he loses the race, it will be by just a few points.

“Our polling generally does not indicate the eventual compression of black voters that Obama usually enjoys just before Election Day. If that happens, my guess is that he will pull this out. However, this poll is clearly an indication of reaction to the latest statements by his former pastor; and it forces Sen. Obama to split resources between Indiana and North Carolina. “If this white vote shift does not erode, given that North Carolina’s white Democratic voters are primarily in the Research Triangle, where education and personal finances are in the top tier for the nation, then I would say this suggests a major shift in all future primaries towards Clinton,” said Towery.

PA did it. They’re coming back. The Bill and Hill show. And Limbaugh, Ingraham, Levine, Coulter, Savage, Hannity, and other ‘conservative’ radio hosts may have handed them the keys to the WH again. Brilliant!!

If Hillary is nominated and elected, I will spend the next eight years doing other things than listening to Rush.

16 long years of trying to defeat the Clintons once and for all and then two weeks away from such a defeat, we have it snatched away.

Thanks so much.

Somehow this in not the result that Rush had in mind when he launched Operation Chaos and then ran with it for at least a month beyond the time when it became obvious that Obama, AKA The Next McGovern, just might lose the Dem nomination.

Well Rush, it is time to send your Chaos Troops out to vote for Obama and not Hillary.

I’ve noticed something-a new trend of sorts. I’ve now read about four pro-KAOS posts on various threads that state “You just don’t get it. Do the math. Hillary can’t get the nomination.” But the next statement is: “And even if she could, the Clintons have too much baggage and are unelectable.” LOL

I’m literally amazed at the number of Clinton lovers/supporters on here, but I honestly think about half of them are only trying to be smartass and piss us off because they feel we’re criticizing their ‘geniuses’ Rush;Hannity, Ingraham, Levine, Coulter,etc..

Oh brother! Even if Hillary somehow gets enough votes to end up with the nomination the blacks will not vote for her. Most older Southern democrat men will not vote for her.

If Hillary gets the nomination by super delegates then the blacks do more than sit at home they throw a temper tantrum.

Rush, Rush, Rush... Democrats do not listen to Rush and not enough republicans really take the time and hassle to go vote dem to make a difference.

Operation Chaos is the perfect name to this years disastrous election year with or without Rush, and I do not just mean for the democrats.

Why shouldn’t we blame Rush? You’ve got to be kidding. As to which candidate I support. The crook Hillary is out. The racist Hussien is out. That only leaves the rino McQueeg. On that one it will depend on what the fool does between now and the election. My back can only take so many knives and I’m leaning to not voting the presidential slot. He needs to start pulling some of those knives out of my back.

Even if Hillary somehow gets enough votes to end up with the nomination the blacks will not vote for her.

Hillary will deflect any black criticism by blaming Obama's loss on Rush, Hannity, The Right, Republicans and by extension, John McCain. She may even pick Obama as her VP if it will help her win.

The result will be that blacks will do what they have done for a long time and they will do what they did in '92 and '96. They will vote for the Democrat and they will vote for a Clinton.

Rev Wright is like a smelly toilet that Obama forgot to flush.
And when Barry pushed the flush lever, the toilet backed up and flooded Obama’s basement.

Maybe he was referring to post #26. Describing them as Clinton "lovers and "supporters" may be a bit of an exaggeration, but anybody who thinks that Hillary will move to the center when she is President is being a bit too polly-annaish in my book.

100% correct. And that would also be a correct statement.

You can't blame them. They're just trying to insure that they'll survive the first purge.

The blacks are predictable, duh. They're going to be democrat voters, it's a built in system.

It doesn't matter if it's hillary or obama, we can not even consider the black vote as being anything buy democrat.. At least in this generation.

Perhaps I was being a slight bit harsh there, but I have read post after post right here on FR stating “Hillary is the best of the three choices”, “Hillary is the least of the three evils”, “I’d rather see the Clintons in again than Obama or McCain”, “I voted for Hillary because she’s better than our candidate”, “It wouldn’t bother me seeing the Clintons in again”, “The Clintons would be better than McCain”, “Why do you fear the Clintons so much?”,and on and on and on.

If Hillary pulls off NC and wins IN easily the they may well give the nomination to her. Then watch Denver erupt when Rosie O’Donnell brings her minions to town.

Denver will not erupt. The primaries end in June. The super delegates will decide by June.

If Hillary has the majority of the total primary vote, enough super delegates will commit to Hillary in June.
