UK: Girls aged 12 have abortions

Girls aged as young as 12 are having abortions, figures released for the first time by the Department of Health reveal. The figures, obtained by The Sunday Times using freedom of information legislation, show that each year 10 to 15 girls aged 12 have abortions.

The government initially refused to disclose the figures by claiming patient confidentiality. The Sunday Times successfully appealed against the refusal and the information commissioner, a government authority which promotes access to public information, ordered the statistics to be disclosed. While some doctors reacted with sadness to the figures, family planning experts said society needed to “stop being shocked” that children were having sex and becoming pregnant.

Ann Furedi, chief executive of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service, which runs a chain of abortion clinics, said: “This is a tiny number of girls. Children grow up very quickly in our society. They are maturing faster physically, psychologically and socially, and society just has to come to terms with that.

“Both parents and teachers need to be able to provide them with the sex education information they need.” Dr Rhona Knight, a GP in Leicester, believes that girls are being put under pressure to have sex at such a young age. “In my experience girls are not choosing to have sex; it is just happening. The message given out is that the boys will use a condom or the girls can go on the pill, but they end up pregnant which is extremely sad. We need to empower these girls to realise that they do not need to have sex at that age,” she said.

The figures, which the Department of Health has withheld for three years, show that in 2003 10 girls aged 12 had abortions. This increased to 15 in 2004. The figures also showed that 138 girls aged 13 had abortions in 2003, which increased to 142 in 2004.

Just curious, but does anyone know why, scientifically, girls and boys are becoming sexually mature at a younger age?

The usual reasons given , for girls , are better food and female hormones in the environment including chemicals that mimic female hormones in soft plastics.

It is a big deal.

{sarcasm on}
Quick - lets get CPS over there and round up ALL of the children in England. After all, clearly they have a massive pedophile ring going on over there and it is ingrained in their culture.

We can’t depend on their mama’s to protect their little children, so we need to separate all of the children from their mothers.

Can you put up a few million children at your house for a few days til we get them all in foster care.{sarcasm off}

P.S. People can be against pedophilia and government abuses of power at the same time.

So where in the Constitution does child rape get a pass?

1. In Texas there was statutory rape at the LDS compound. It was wrong and against the law.

2. The law got a false report and got a warrent. It was wrong and against the Constitution.

I don't know the science of it but I see ads sexualizing children to make money. I see 13 and 14 year old kids on “dates”.

The homosexual agenda has certainly influenced more “experimentation” to the extent that you have 12 year old boys coming out. 12! for freak sakes.

Generally in history a prosperous society gets more devious as we have seen with ancient civilizations because God means less and less and material things mean more and more.

You see, God requires obedience and a commitment to doing what is right. People hate commitments these days as we can see by our divorce rates.

We agree on point one. How do you arrive at the conclusion of point two? Getting a warrant is called for in the constitution, no?

The warrent was obtained on false information.

“P.S. People can be against pedophilia and government abuses of power at the same time.”

Hear! Hear!

Sanity at last.

I am waiting for when the state of Texas goes after Planned Parenthood for aiding adult males in their raping of underage girls, and getting rid of the evidence.

I wonder how long I will have to wait. Is any other state out there doing ANYTHING about Planned Parenthood? They get government money, too. That is just as bad, is it not?

Planned Parenthood gets a pass for hiding child rape of underage girls by adult males when they perform abortions.

Abortion is not in the Constitution.

Why does Planned Parenthood get a pass, hmmm?

The truth has been hidden. We need to get the truth out and shut them down.

The truth is known and is kept hidden because the authorities are hypocrites.

The truth is known to some, we need to shout it from the rooftops and humiliate those who help kill babies.
