That makes sense to me (mother of three sons).

It’s the troublemakers, the defiant, the headstrong, who have a lot of potential IF properly disciplined and inspired.

I can imagine many boys with JD records of one type or another could grow up to be fine leaders.

And this proud, former soldier from Reagan’s Army, the one the Commies feared, can see your point, Marie, mother of 3. Aggressive, ass-kicking, hard-heads who liked the Army were the bee’s knees back in the 80’s. Loud-mouthed, bull-headed go-getters, on a short leash, under proper direction, are the backbone of any efficient Army.

I guess learning from mistakes does not count according to this rag. Even me who was not in any trouble as a teenager still learned how to be an adult in the military. God only knows what would have become of me without that discipline and training. I for one thank God for the military.
