One phase of FLDS work is complete SAN ANGELO, Texas The last of the extra Texas state troopers, child welfare investigators and others involved in the massive effort of caring for Fundamentalist LDS Church children in custody have rolled out of town. "The demobilization of resources in San Angelo was completed only (Monday)," said Gov. Rick Perry's spokeswoman Krista Piferrer. "It was a large scale effort with a tremendous law enforcement presence, nonprofit presence and (Child Protective Services) workers from all around the state. We basically transformed a coliseum into a shelter.

Boys located
Attorneys identified Monday the location of an 11-year-old boy whose name had not been included in a master list of the children and the foster care facilities where they were taken.
We're not exactly sure about what happened. His name was just removed from the list for some reason," said Cynthia Martinez, communications director for Texas RioGrande Legal Aid. The group represents the boy's mother and nearly 50 other FLDS mothers. The mother called looking for information about the boy and his 16-month-old brother but their names weren't listed and no one could provide her answers.
The toddler is believed to be at one of the facilities, but authorities still aren't sure where. There are three children in custody with the same or similar names.
CPS workers insist the two boys have always been safe, but because of confusion with many of the children's names and birth dates, it's been difficult to properly identify all of them. Many of the mothers and children provided false or different information at various times, they say.
"The placement list we have might not agree with the mothers, but that's the information we were given by them," said CPS spokesman Patrick Crimmins. "It's certainly understandable and probably frustrating, but I don't think you can consider those children were ever unaccounted for or missing."

Crimmins said as of Monday afternoon, six FLDS children removed from the YFZ Ranch were in hospitals. None has serious health issues. One child has an ear infection, another has respiratory issues. Crimmins said he did not know specifics about the other four.
"In all of these cases but one, the mother is either with the child or is being kept up to date on the child's condition," he said. "I don't know about visitation of the children but that will be arranged if we can do it."
Flds will blame CPS for impregnating those girls.
That is good news. I wonder where I got the number of 20 some boys? I know I read it somewhere.
Thanks!

Spoken like a true bunch of ring-tail tooters having a hissy fit.
The local Austin station said one teenage girl had been taken to a hospital and was in labor.
How DNA Could Reveal Relationships of Texas Sect

To find a male child’s father, researchers will look for match-ups in DNA markers found on the Y sex chromosome, which is passed down from fathers to their sons.
“All males descended from a common male and female ancestor would have exactly the same Y chromosome passed unchanged from generation to generation,” said Allen, who is also director of the Human Identity Testing Laboratory. “So I will have the same Y chromosome as my brother, father, son, paternal uncle, paternal cousin.”
Mothers can be linked to children with DNA found in the cells’ energy-producing structures called mitochondria.
The mitochondria hold a separate set of genes passed down from mothers to their offspring.
Based on the age of the child, officials could then figure out how old the mother was at the time of conception and the age of the father.
The information will be news only to officials, as the mothers and children within this Mormon sect know who’s who.
“The question is whether some of these women were under legal age when they were either married or impregnated,” he added. “I think that’s what the DNA tests are probably going to try to show.”
Incestual relations?
The DNA testing could also provide incest clues.

Thanks. I thought they said San Marcos, but missed part of the report.
ping to my last post (just above)
I don’t start threads on FR, but feel free (any of you) to start a new thread on anything I post here from daily FLDS headlines if you like.
I check for FLDS headlines several times a day and I will post what I find on the daily FLDS thread.
The credit really goes to Mizsterious, who has initiated this thread and posts it daily with the links included.
She had to be away from her computer today, so I posted it for her, but she sent me the template, etc. All I did was to find the lead article, which incidently was buried.
As a matter of fact, there were numerous articles with headlines loudly proclaiming "CPS loses two young boys!" but you notice the fact that they WERE NOT LOST was buried down in the article.
I really appreciate the work you are doing with this.
That’s all well and good, but it doesn’t work without a comparison.
UH OH!....there are some mighty nervous FLDS males about now...those CPS folks have a cheek swab in one hand and an application for a search warrant to swab some babydaddy cheeks in the other. IMO.
31 of 53 teen girls at FLDS ranch are pregnant or had baby
Thanks for bring it up. BTW, to check on what has been posted, I use a keyword search for "flds" and most of the FR threads will pop up.
While I was out & about today, I met a friend for lunch and we were talking about this case. She wondered about something I hadn’t considered, and now I’m sorry she brought it up—but her question was, would it be possible for the YFZ bunch to do the same thing with baby boys that some cultures do with baby girls—i.e., abort or kill them right after birth? This haunted me all the way home.
LOL, what’s a “ring-tail tooter?”
He'll be out in two. Just in time to be re-elected!!!!!!
Thanks, I have my dvr set to record it. I hope they do a good job with it.
Threatening the state of Texas and CPS. That's going to go over real well.
Yeah, I can see Texas rolling over or cowering in a corner over that threat.
FLDS are idiots.
