Roads are like closets. No matter how much room you got, eventually they fill up.

"“It’s either toll roads, slow roads or no roads.” While some applaud Williamson’s candor, others question his draconian ultimatum."

How about maintaining/ expanding as needed what already exists with the taxes that already exist and are more than adequate, and KEEP IT FREE! AND KEEP IT AMERICAN! The only toll should be for Mexican trucks, if they don't like it, too bad, forward the freight at a terminal like Direct Terminals like it's done now. It will keep reckless and under-insured Mexican drivers off our roads.

It simply doesn't make sense to go forward with an idea that was too stupid and too costly to start with. There is nothing carved in stone that says we have to build every stupid idea that some corn eared politician comes up with, loaded with seemingly unsolvable problems, or problems too costly and burdensome for the American citizen to bear. Not that they want to bear it, but for some reason "the government" seems to think it lords over the people, and can make it pay for whatever it wants.

NO!!! WE THE PEOPLE LORD OVER THE GOVERNMENT!!! SO STOP IT!
