Beyond that, the apparent helplessness of the Obama campaign in the face of the Wright onslaught contributes to the growing perception of the candidate as weak, as someone who is unwilling or unable to fight aggressively on his own behalf.

Barry no fighter. He is simply a sympathizer. He don't throw no bombs, but he know they that do. Barry just hanging around, hoping a fellow with shaded skin and an Arabic name can fall into it big time.

That is the interesting question, yet to be answered. It is known that Oprah attended the church and it is also known that Oprah left the church. One can only speculate that Oprah's street smarts exceed Barry's by a great deal. Oprah evidently recognized that an association with this hate mongering demagogue could do a public figure little good.
