“He proved that a neophyte politician can learn enough on the job to be a credible presidential candidate.”
That is your opinion Jeb. IMHO Hussien has no business being President of the United States.

THE problem is that blacks will not recognize the legitimacy of another black (Obeyme not withstanding) unless they uphold the black tribal tradition of victimization. They must blame everything on whites, whether they openly admit it or not. “I don’t have your money.” “I don’t have your success’” “I don’t have your kind of house.” “My children don’t have a daddy.” Ergo, white people must continue to pay for my personal failure.
Successful blacks are excoriated as being “Uncle Tom’s.” Despite the truly Herculean and courageous efforts of Bill Cosby and others in the “black community” to lift their constituents from their self-imposed segregation and destructive behaviors, they, collectively, fear success because such success would alienate them from their black identity. That’s why you see congregates step up and slap Rev. Wright on the back for saying what they believe, but are afraid to openly state.
Forty-four years of white apologizing in the form of $7.2 trillion of entitlements have accomplished nothing, other than to create a level of dependency and indolence over which America cannot recover. You’ll see these longterm effects in Denver. Hopefully, they’ll not spread throughout the country.

Anyone ready to compare the "fire" insurance rates before and after the convention????
Nothing good will come from this gathering of the loons.

There's been so much talk about the coming "blow up" that it probably won't happen. There will be demonstrations, of course. There always are. People who are banking on a re-run of '68 may be disappointed.

I am not sure if Mike Huckabee is still on the ballot in NC, but if he is I would love to see the conservatives of North Carolina give the Gov a 98% victory.
It would not change much electorally, but it might remind Senator Juan that conservatives consider him to be AT BEST our least worst option.
Every time McCain speaks I think to myself that I cannot bring myself to cast a vote for this poltroon!
