Interview with Aaron Cohen..former IDF special forces.
Sunny side up with bacon and sourdough toast. Mmmmmm...
So are some of the southeastern states.
You should visit Miami sometime.
In the 70s, the fast food joints and restaurants had spanish as a main language, with English subtitles. Now, the subtitles are gone and if you don’t speak spanish, you’re a “foreigner in your own land”.
My wife and I refuse to learn it, so we just don’t go back down there, anymore, to vacation. With a recent exception, two weeks ago.
I bought a 2006 Ford GT, two weeks ago, in North Miami, but had two friends (from Orlando) along as “translators”, just in case. The sellers were American, and had their own “spanish-speaking staff” along, also just in case.
Only the bankers were Cubans, whom I like as a people. They spoke fluent English and completed all the background checks & transactions to our complete satisfaction.
The ride back up I95 (we took Amtrak Silver Service/Palmetto from the northeast to Miami) at some 205-mph stretches, was absolutely breathtaking!
Have you two seen this?

Scary, isn’t it?

UN peacekeepers ‘traded gold and guns with Congolse rebles’
Get America out of the UN and the UN out of America bring back limited constitutional government.
Turkey bacon, of course. ; )
At least this one isn’t canned with random interjections of “oh my g-d”.
Very true
Third hour coming up on blue monday.
Did someone kill the thread?
I've never heard (or seen) of an Amtrak train topping out at over 200 MPH! I assumed that bullet trains were pretty much non-existent in our country. Speaking of speed, how fast have you gone in your GT so far? Anything on YouTube us Infidels can check out? :-D

I must admit that I wouldn't mind seeing the people who got us into this economic mess being packed into the back of pickup trucks and whisked away to a less-than-minimum wage job. Unfortunately, those that helped to place America in permanent ruin will be the first ones to flee the country when the sh*t really hits the fan.
Blech! Might as well kill me now. Yeah, as if the bacon won't do that sooner or later. ;-D
Sorry for the confusion; I wasn’t clear on that point. The Amtrak wasn’t at 200mph; my new purchase was there at a few 10-15 miles stretches.
You say Mr Clarkson sold his unit? Mechanical problems? I hadn’t heard that. Do you know any details of it’s demise?
I use mine as an “everyday appliance”, except in rainy/snowy/icy weather. It’s so supple and civilized, except when I stand on it... then it screams.
A line from “Little Deuce Coupe” sticks in my mind:

“And she purrs like a kitten till the Lake Pipes roar”,
♫♫♫
Sorry, but I digress from the topic-at-hand. Must be the single malt scotch; I’m getting giddy on an empty stomach. Time for some food.
Uh... Don't they realize they can just WALK across the border? Or perhaps they're actually Cubans and decided to take the long way around.
