For those who were upset with the state of Texas’ action and demanded proof...well there it is. Texas has clearly made the right decision to get those kids out of that evil compound immediately! Thank God that someone had the sense to look into this case.

Right. Who needs that bothersome little 4th Amendment.

22 of the first 53 girls had never been pregnant. They were seized as well, and we don’t know if there was any evidence that they were being sought out for sex, or in any danger of abuse.

Of the other 31, we don’t know (although maybe the authorities know) that they all had sex against “their will” (I quote that because if you are brainwashed you don’t really have a will), or if they had sex with people over 18 or if some of them just had sex with the teen boys (while many of them were alleged to have been cast out, we know that some number of them were taken from the compound, and it’s certainly within the realm of possibility that some were either having sex, or actually had “married” some girls.

My point being that there could well eventually be evidence that every parent was abusive, and every child therefore should be taken.

But this evidence suggests that there was a good number that may not have been in that set of children who needed to be saved.

I'm sure many posters from the 16th century will be along to disagree with you.
Of course these 14 year old girls just dream of bearing children with 50 year old men.

yes these kids needed help. However because of the ham fisted bumbling of the police and prosecutors, the CPS case will proceed and there now be a protracted criminal case because the prosecutors have handed defenses on a silver platter for the criminal defense attorneys.

The CPS case can proceed, link up mothers to children. Even provide a way out for those mothers and children. (perhaps even the young men who are the fathers) However without a criminal closure they will always be in danger from being tracked down by other followers.
