“Tell you what: when you guys can all agree on what you’re trying to accomplish, let us know. “
Well, the “chaos” in Operation Chaos should have been your first clue. But, okay, you didn’t get it.
All the posts here explaining exactly what OC is meant to do, and you STILL don’t get it? Well bro, I can’t help you there.
If you don’t want to see it, there is nothing anyone can do for you.

1. Six months is a long time during election season. It is too early to determine the strongest candidate. April polls are almost worthless.
2. I think the effects of this Operation Chaos thing is extremely overrated. There's a real split among democrats. In Pennsylvania, Obama did better in Republican areas than in some democrat areas like Scranton.
3. Obama has clinched a plurality of votes, but can not get a majority without the superdelegates. The two of them fighting it out is an advantage for McCain.
4. Obama has a long time to recover from "G Damn America." Six months is an eternity.
5. Do you really think that Rush actually has that kind of power? Let's remember what he is. He's a talk show host. No more, no less. His job is to get ratings and ad money.

If Hillary “steals” the nomination from BHO, the outrage from the Obamians will devastate the Democratic Party. The superdelegates have no choice but to go with Obama even if they know he’ll lose.

Well, I have trouble finding anything to disagree with you about in your post. I would be the last person to defend Limbaugh's cunning or intelligence. Especially against one of the most devious people in a notably devious "profession".
But I think three additional things: (1) McCain is a weak candidate representing a despised status quo, so he would get beat by either one, no matter what Limbaugh does; (2) Limbaugh's effect on the Democratic primaries is much less than he is given, or takes, credit for; and (3) Hillary is and has been going to be our next president, no matter what.
We should have gotten our own dilapidated house in order before blaming a loss on Rush. This party is a crying damned shame.

as far as 'operation chaos' goes, conservatives should be the LAST people in the world to do something simply because a celebrity (no matter who it is) suggests or promotes it
and we should be the LAST people in the world to behave like stupid obamabots or groupies.
true conservatives are independent-minded, self-sufficient, and able to think and reason for themselves, the exact opposite of the feeble-minded and needy class of people that the liberal nanny-staters have created.
IMO this election is too important and is about far more than playing some silly little political game, no matter who is selling T shirts.
there are some very evil forces bent on destroying our country and i pray that some serious patriots can come up with a whole lot better than 'operation chaos' to save america.

You make some very good points here. Hillary would make a horrible president, no doubt about it. And she’d definitely be tougher for McCain to beat than Obama.
The thing is I, for one, still don’t see her getting the nomination this year. I’m guessing that Rush doesn’t either, at least not at this point. Of course, if her campaign picks up enough momentum, and it starts to look like she’s got a chance to win the nomination, then I expect Rush to switch sides and start backing Obama.
We’ll see.

Thank you for raising such a son and thank him for his service.
I mean that.
My older son of 28 has served, as had my father - and I, but for the first time, I will strongly discourage my new son (5)(and daughter) from the service unless things radically swing back.
Still, I cannot vote McCain.
But thank you for your post, and I do agree 100% that Obama is by far the weaker candidate.
While that does not guarantee McCain a victory in November by any means, it does mean, IMO, that the election becomes his to lose. - Bill

Who are we to question the wisdom of a radio disk jockey and his successful marketing campaign? The libs have their Al Franken, the “conservatives” their Limbo. You gotta worship one or the other!

Piss off. I almost hope we get the Clintons again. Talk radio heros deserve the fairness doctrine shoved up their asses if their work puts these vile bastards in office again.

Rush Limbaugh has consistently underestimated the Clintons since 1992 and consistently predicted their demise. He is completely out of his depth here... I agree with you.

Of course, if her campaign picks up enough momentum, and it starts to look like shes got a chance to win the nomination, then I expect Rush to switch sides and start backing Obama. Here's the thing: with every election she wins at this point, it's a chance to claim the momentum and pick up the superdelegates.
If this was really about "chaos", Rush would end it now (she isn't going anywhere) or even be suggesting a trade off every other primary: Hillary in PA, Obama in the next one, then Hillary, then Obama.
By consistently throwing support to Hillary, the superdelegates and the press see momentum that legitimizes her with the party and, to a lesser extent, the public.
To: Behind Liberal Lines
The GOP will get Hillary elected President by running a complete jackass like John McCain.
