Science, and even evolution, are not conservative/liberal things.

It has nothing to do with politics as long as its science. Gravity has nothing to do with liberals or conservatives, but it’s only a scientific theory, too.

Creationists are not radical islamics, although I don’t think that was really what they were called on this thread. I don’t see why there can’t be a respectiful disagreement.

People should be free to believe the earth is 6,000 years old, Noah’s Flood was worldwide and only 4,000 years ago, and dinosaurs are just something we don’t want to talk about.

Fine.

There is no need for religion and science to agree. The very rules of science prohibit it from getting into the religious realm. It passes no judgment on religion at all.

Religion observes no such restrictions, and it’s been proven incorrect on numerous counts and has retracted its positions.

This is way more of a religious/scientific debate than a conservative/liberal one. And there is no reason for it to be a religious debate. The facts are indeed the facts.

Ahhhh...you mean like liberals like algoreacle and the climate?

Sad to say, but liberals make virtually EVERYTHING they touch a political problem and this is my WHOLE argument.

Well, that and free speech.

If it’s not science, I’m all good but don’t come up with absurd statements like “it’s not science” implying it can NEVER be proven or never be scientific, when EVERYONE KNOWS science is all too often concensus, is very fluid and has yet to be determined, defined, or has had it’s final chapter written let alone etched in stone.

THIS is the crux of the movie...I think no intelligence allowed is biting but it’s the truth, it’s not about science at all but control, on either side.

See my other posts about children learning that God doesn’t exist because science DEMANDS it to be so...

othewise, why the horrible fear of ID being simply explored as a theory? Why the fear of even allowing children books OUTSIDE science about God in school...why the NEA agenda against God in public schools, banning of Christmas from school calendars...

I can’t see any scientific PROOF of evolution, so....what’s the big deal?

Ignroing that science isn’t polititiczied doesn’t make it so!
