The hoax of anthropogenic global warming spawns another ridiculous waste of taxpayer money.

Time to disband the Air Force.

Perhaps the first objective of the project could be to accurately and consistently measure the output of the sun and the average global temperature of the earth.

What next, a park bench ad with the SECAF and bin Laden holding hands to combat global warming?

The US air force will this week call for the world's top scientists to come together in a 21st-century Apollo-style programme to develop greener fuels and tackle global warming. If the Air Force has decided to become a political branch of the military it's time to disband them and re-org the entire officer corps.

does anyone remember back in the early 1990’s how companies were mandated to reduce or eliminate cfc’s from their products because they were destroying the ozone layer and therefore creating global warming and allowing in to much UV rays and we would all die from cancer.....just another round of finding ways for the rich to get richer.....

Time to disband the Air Force. Not completely. Just the culprits behind this and any other insane stupidities....such as those who duplicitously gave the Air Tanker contract to EADS/Airbus...which flunked 5 of 8 survivability requirements...and played massively Xlintonian numeric games to ignore the reality that the EADSs plane was costing $10 billion more...

Notice that the author states "US air force" and French air force" but yet it's the "Royal Air Force".
My father was a US Air Force veteran.

Will it involve counting golf courses for their carbon sequestration potential? (running and ducking before I’m hit with a 5 iron).

First point: US Air Force should be capitalized. Second point: Go bomb the bad guys and quit wasting my tax money with this half-baked pantload.

the effin' Air Force??? This has gone beyond reason. If the air force is catering to the myth of globull warming, then they should be disbanded.
I've really had it with this BS. We had 6 years of repubLICKans running the house, senate, and white house and they did nothing - NOTHING - to crush this liberal BS. Now the liberals have the house and senate, the repubLICKans continue to caputulate. Newt, Dubya, and the rest can all go to h***. Bunch of worthless scum.

If I remember correctly the Air Force’s job is to kill people and break things.

Not to defend the USAf too much here, but such stupid moves smells of “congressional pressure”. We must remember the reason for 1) the corn shortage, and 2) the mortgage debacle. Both were instigated by “ideas” created by two classes of people who are at the bottom of the IQ pile: liberal arts profs, and members of the senate/congress.
