Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, the Canadian Condiment. Always on dogs, and if you're a native Bostonian the only accompaniment you need for hash and eggs.

I put kraut on my hot dogs.
Not sure what that means. It means you secretly want to invade Poland.

I don’t use ketchup. I’m a Republican.

Horse hockey to the study :D
Mustard is the only way to go.
Mustard and relish and onions.
Mustard and chili and onions.
Mustard and kraut and onions.
Or just mustard.
But not catsup.
Not even on fries.

“Red is an aggressive, war-like color, whereas yellow is much more passive and low-key”
That comment is hilarious! Sounds so scholarly and scientific.
I’m not much of a ketchup or mustard fan, but my favorite color is red. I must be a warmonger :)
To: indcons
hummmm....political affiliation based on "color"...this guy has to be a democrat.
I'm conservative, and I like mustard, ketchup, AND onions on my hot dogs and hamburgers.
Or, in a pinch, mustard and relish....
Or, in a real pinch, just mustard.
Straight ketchup is for fries.

No mustard, no ketchup.
Smother on the relish and a healthy dab of horseradish.
Guess that means I’m a bitter hick with no taste.
To: indcons
I love ketchup on grilled cheese sandwiches and on rare occasion french fries. I prefer mustard on hot dogs and hamburgers but never ketchup. But I’m a conservative not a Republican.

I havent used any Heinz products since the 2004 elections. Me either, I make my own:
24 pounds ripe tomatoes quartered (about a case from Costco or Sams)
2 whole red (hot) peppers, seeded, or more if you like it hot!
1/4 cup olive oil
5 cups onions chopped
1 head garlic
4 teaspoons whole cloves
3 sticks cinnamon broken up
2 teaspoons allspice
3 tablespoons celery seed
3 cups cider vinegar
cup sugar
1/4 cup salt
Boil the first five ingredients till soft (about 1 hour) and put through a food mill.
Tie the spices in a little baggie of cheesecloth and add to the tomatoes.
Add the sugar.
Simmer to reduce the volume by 2/3rds
Add the Vinegar
salt to taste and remove the spice packet
Simmer an additional 15 minutes.
Can in pint jars with processing in a boiling water bath 15 minutes.
Serve with Steak and French Fries!
