Uncle Tom is a racist term and only bigots would use it.

Someone who holds you down and denigrates your success is NOT your friend or your “brother”. He is your enemy and is selling you out for his own political/social advantage.

I agree, that term is thrown to anyone who doesn't follow the line they prescribe and.. gosh..thinks for themselves.. it is the ultimate in racism. It is telling someone that because the color of their skin, they must think and believe X. It is completely throwing out the individual for the sake of the ‘box’ they put them in.
