They weren’t covering up. Most of them believe the things people like Wright say. Most members of the media identify themselves as “liberals”. No member of the left believes that people of any color other than white can be prejudiced.

Wright in the Morning [Kathleen Parker]
I’m at the National Press Club, where the Rev. Wright is having breakfast with about 27 tables of 11 and, oh, 200 journalists. You do the math. Breakfast guests are overwhelmingly African-American and the media are overwhelmingly not. Some of the reserved tables include the Wright family, SPOC Trustees, Howard University, a Baptist Church or two. I can’t see the head table because so many are trying to get pictures, though I just spotted Clarence Page seated a couple of chairs down to Wright’s right. Hmmmm.

CNN’s Obamarama [Cliff May]
I was watching CNN for a few minutes this morning and all I can say is: Wow, are these guys unabashedly in the tank for Obama!
Soledad O’Brien, who I thought was supposed to be a reporter, was instructing the audience about Wright, telling us how amusing he is and how not-angry, and how much sense he is making. Then there was a CNN “non-scientific poll” showing that most CNN viewers online think it’s time to end the controversy over Wright and “move on.” Yes, move on.
How about the controversy over Bill Ayers and all the other dubious Obama associates? When does some CNN investigative reporter begin to “connect the dots” and perceive a pattern?

But But But Wright was Obama’s “former” pastor. Poor Axelrod is even mad at CNN.
I am sick and tired of people calling this country excrement, and then being treated like heros. Forty years of that BS is more than enough. I’m in revolt. Shut up, Wright,and shut up, news media.
But more interestingly than that, (Rev. Jeremiah Wright) thanked someone else: CNN’s Roland Martin, whom he referred to as a “life-long friend.”

Andrew Breitbart just told the Friends that a bunch of Hollywood stars are coming out of the conservative closet this summer and will show their support for McCain...he named two, Angie Harmon and some girl on The Hills. He also mentioned Robert Downey, Jr.
I understand but, I’m just wondering if any one from the black community will wake up and realize that instead of blaming others. Will they examine ask themselves that question?

I won’t try and judge Wright’s heart for Jesus. But his actions sure don’t demonstrate what I read about what Jesus asks us to do and be.
