No, I think it would be wise to be highly sceptical of data from an organization that has a transparent fiscal incentive to manufacture data to prop up a political PR line.
Who do you think is going to get their Govt budget increased? A Govt funded researcher who says "You are all going to die of heat stroke" or one who says " The standard political line on Global warming is not supported by the data"?
The NOAA data is at odds with research being done at the University of Alabama. How do you explain the very wide disparity in results from two scientific studies on the same topic?
