I don’t agree with it, but this is small potatoes as far as the federal budget is concerned. Too bad he won’t be increasing the funds to help veterans, like the Local Veteran Employment (LVER) and Disabled Veteran Outreach Program (DVOP) at the Department of Labor’s Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS) or the Veterans Affairs (V.A.) Vocational Rehabilitation Program. Those programs are almost completely underfunded.

And in the New Deal. Which is not surprising, since many of the New Deal policy makers had made field trips to the Soviet Union, and were in general far Leftist in approach.
