First of all, McCain does several points better against Hillary than he does against Obama. McCain’s favorabilities are very high, but Hillary’s are well over 50%. 50% of voters have said they WILL NOT VOTE FOR HILLARY.
These are the reasons why the Democrats first decided to pull the rug out from underneath Hillary.
The believe, to a person, that Hillary is a bigger liability than Obama.
They cannot wait to get rid of her.
Let’s not lose sight of that.
You are afraid of the buffoons known as the Clintons.
That’s what it comes down to.

A few months ago, we were all salivating at the prospect of running against the Clintons.
Why should that suddenly change?
Obama has already done the damage to her — he’s taken away her cloak of invincibility.

There won’t be a Democrat party left for her to be the nominee of if they try to give it to her.

Now I don't know if this sentiment is going to carry on through until November, but if the charges of racism continue to dog Hillary for the rest of their primary, there is a better than good chance it will.
You have to consider as well that plenty of nasty stuff will be said about Hillary before this primary is over and that isn't going to help her at all. It will wake up a lot of the truly stupid in this country who always vote Democrat but don't really know why, finishing off Hillary nicely.
I really doubt she'd try run in 2012. 4 years is a long time for someone who's face is sagging lower each day. By 2012, it will have overtaken her breasts.
This is her shot, so she's not going to pull any punches, which will only destroy Obama, but herself in the backlash.

Operation Chaos could easily backfire on us and have unintended and very serious consequences. Especially if it makes Hillary the nominee, and she goes on the win in November.
Why tempt fate? Hillary will be much more difficult to dislodge once she has secured the Dem nomination. She ain't going nowhere. Barack is on his way down. Why not let him destroy Hillary first, then take the rest of Dems down with him?

Plus, there is the long term fallout that if the Democrats steal victory from a black man, then they know the GOP’s message that the Democrat party doesn’t deliver on their promises to the black community will begin to resonate.

As well, Sharpton and co. may have NY shut down by then as well over that shooting case, especially if the city reinstates those officers.

Since Civil Rights movement, the only thing the democrats have delivered to the Black community is perpetual poverty. Still they vote for the white Democrat handouts...Obama IMO won't break that trend. Plenty of state and local elections are evidence. Heck, think Chicago's Daley!
I'm split on the opinion of the youth vote. White democrats perhaps may switch parties. I see the wind blowing more towards a violent anti-globalist Marxist youth, so a Populist/RINO/Third way/false prophet will be the ideal candidate.

I said we should continue encouraging them to bloody Obama, because nothing they do can win Hillary the nomination. Nothing.

I think your problem here is you actually believe that the Democrat super delegates will look at the two candidates, decide because Obama tanked at the end that Hillary is the stronger candidate (even though she will still lag in the delegate count by triple digits) and rip the nomination from Obama’s hands after he won it fairly.
You actually believe that the super delegates will unanimously all come to the same conclusion that Hillary could carry a few more points, or a couple more states in the general election, that they should rob the first black candidate to win the nomination. That they will believe that slim margin is worth the long term damage to their party, and their own political careers as they go back to their constituents and have to explain their actions, and face primary challengers for their seats because of it.
You believe that these same super delegates who already have stabbed the Clintons in the back with the long knives are now going to suddenly return them to power inside the party instead where Bill and Hillary will have free reign to exact revenge, settle scores, and purge the disloyal right out of the Party.
You believe that the Democrat super delegates who need cash for their own races will reject Obama and his record fund-raising for cash-strapped Hillary, all over a few points gain in the Presidential race?
Please. You really do not understand politics. These super delegates are all politicians themselves, and like all politicians, they are looking out for their own self-interests first, regardless of what anyone says. Their own elections mean a lot more to them than the Presidential election. And nominating Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama works against their self-interests.

I, on the other hand, actually lived under the Clintons the first time around. You could ask your parents or siblings how it went - if you could detach yourself from The Days of Our Lives and hear it first-hand from someone you trust.
