Just a feeling on my part, but I "feel" that this contingency plan may have already been set in motion.

But one thing is for sure, and that is that the Democrats have captured our bandwidth. Prhaps we really ought to be worrying about what to do with McCain.

Now there's an interesting situation....+

There is no way said contingency plan could be set in motion.
There are only two candidates, and not enough uncommitted delegates left to have any kind of impact. This unexpected mystery candidate would be in a very distant 3rd place and not go anywhere.

These brokered convention type deals can only take place in a crowded field where no one candidate can muster enough votes to reach 50%+1.
So let's remain rational here. Your scenario is pure fantasy.
