The DU crowd gets its biggest thrill out of feeling more intelligent-moral-enlightened-with it than “them”, meaning those Americans who don’t see things the way they do.
Maybe that's the game: psychological warfare against anyone who might disagree. They know the O-man is inevitable and think their only hope is to bully us into thinking the unholy Rev is normal.
Yes, you have explained Black Liberation Theology very well, but I think that it is important that people know that the “out of Africa” part was an after thought to the Liberation Theology that the Marxist organizers started in South America in the eighties.
Going back to the original Liberation Theology eliminates some of the racial aspects of the issue and highlights the fact that this is a political economic praxis that uses religion as an organizing method.

This could only be saved by John Belushi somersaulting down the main aisle and Wright bouncing up and down on a trampoline at the conclusion. He's wasting comedic skill on this anger and political stuff. What a shame. There are so many other things in life other than racial conflict and hatred.

Excellent comments. I did not watch this pap because I’ve already had more than my fill of the ranting racist Rev. Wright but I figured he’s spout more of his rabid Afro-supremacist drivel..... I just didn’t realize he’d go quite so far over the top in mocking favorite Demagogue leaders and groups. This is going to backfire bigtime on the ‘Rats.
Detroit is the most dysfunctional and incompetent major city in America. The last thing that’s needed there is more anti-capitalist, anti-intelligence, anti-American babble. They need the Cosby message plus the Thomas Sowell message, not the Jeremiah Wright message. I just hope Obambi gets put on the spot enough times, forced to confront questions about whether he agrees with his #1 spiritual and yes socialist mentor on all the “Black Liberation Theology” nonsense.

That’s what I meant by purposely mispronounced. Wright grew up in a rather nice section of Philadelphia, a mixed neighborhood, where his father was the pastor of a large Baptist church. He knows how to speak English.
It will be interesting to read Thomas Sowell’s analysis of this speech and its political impact.
Wright is proving an old TR quote: "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive."
However, CNN nor the Liberal Democrats or those Blacks in Rev Wright image, never studied history nor Teddy Roosevelt, eh?

I don’t know, Wright started school at a Black College, where he intended to study for the ministry, but he grew restless and joined the marines. After two years, and little advancement, he was drummed out of the marines and sent to the navy to finish his committment as a medic. He got some kind of special discharge, honorable but special. It sounds as though Wright must have tried to declare himself a conscientious objector, half way through his service. Then when he got out he finished college at Howard with both a BA and masters degree in Eng with a concentration in African spirituals and got a second masters from Chicago divinity school with a concentraion in Islamic religion.
The man is no idiot, he’s just a racist Marxist hater.

Someone should ask him why he is living in a 10,000 sq. ft. mansion while many (as they describe) as starving. Isn't that a little hypocritical of him and his party (as usual)?!
I noticed this past week that Michelle Obama was out harranging some crowd about how Obama's racial speech was an opportunity to show leadership. She of course told the crowd that Obama seized the opportunity and acquitted himself brilliantly! His obvious leadership qualities, according to Michelle, now show that Obama has the right stuff lead the country. Therefore, all talk of his inexperience should be retired. That was the gist of her remarks.
