I agree, just because someone has degrees may not mean he is intelligent. But I think, listening to him, Wright is very intelligent. Maybe not nice, maybe sarcastic and angry and loud...but many “not nice’ people are intelligent.

That does not mean he is fair, or nice. but he is defintely not dumb or ignorant. I find racism in all its ugly forms shows a severe ignorance. Rev Wright is the poster child of racism imo.
