I keep getting told to “hold your nose and vote for him”.
Or “who’s better him or the socialist or the commie?”.
So I should swallow my angst and vote for someone who doesn’t believe in about anything that I do simply because he’s got an R after his name? How principled is that?
I won’t be voting for John McCain.
Most of this isn’t new to me since he’s my senator (ick!).
On top of all of that, I’ve written him any number of letters including opionions and queries.
He’s never once responded. Not even a “your opionion is important to us, so we will now continue to ignore you” letter.
If he can’t be responsive to a fairly sparsely-populated state like Arizona, how responsive will he be to an entire country? If he can’t see that illegals are mowing us down like bowling pins, what CAN he see?
Got that right!
Thanks to a large number like us, McCain and most RINOS who have infected this once great party will begin to be weeded out. Pluck them out, one weed at a time. The time to start is now, not next time. If that means we lose, then so be it. In the long run, it will be a much faster way to replace them because the GOP will not take the blame for the coming disaster.
Oh, he knows----- McCain (R-Ariz) should explain to taxpayers the public financing of the Arizona-Mexico Commission, and the Border Infrastructure Project implemented in collaboration with federal, state and local government agencies........that's OUR tax dollars.

John McCain voted Yes on this bill. A complete unedited list of McCains voting record can be found Here
That reflects exactly what I posted! Thanks. It is definitely part of his voting record. Stem cell research is tricky business. I wonder if he would vote the same way today, after all the new developments of the last two years implying that there’s no “magic” in the embryonic any more.
As far as I know, it is the one major blemish on McCain’s proLife record, and it is faithfully reflected in what I posted as his ratings by NRLC.
I’m surprised that he gains a perfect proLife rating from NARAL: 100%! [100%-0%] though.
Agree.
