Been on a cross country trip for about 10 days and fortunately have only seen one gas station marketing ethanol after I left my home state of SD. I was pleased to see so little use. That will help when the ethanol facilities cut back or go bust, but at 3.50 a gallon for fuel, maybe it is viable even without the subsidies. We shall see.

They may not be promoting it, but here in Rockford, IL nearly one-third the stations carry ethanol, and some carry biodiesel. Brands include Phillips 66, Shell, BP and Road Ranger (big local brand that used to carry Citgo).
