April 26 (UPI) -- Hillary Clinton challenged Barack Obama to debate her one-on-one in Indiana without a moderator.
``I'm offering Senator Obama the chance to debate me one- on-one, no moderators,'' Clinton said this afternoon at a rally at a baseball stadium in South Bend, Indiana. ``Just the two of us going for 90 minutes, asking and answering questions. We'll set whatever rules seem fair.''
Clinton and Illinois Senator Obama, 46, her chief rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, have debated each other four times. Clinton, who trails Obama in total delegates, won the Pennsylvania primary this week, giving her campaign much- needed momentum.
Indiana and North Carolina, where Clinton and Obama have been campaigning, hold their primary elections on May 6.
Robert Gibbs, Obama's communications director, had no immediate comment.

Frankly, this is how all debates ought to be.
Obama backed out of the South Carolina debate.
He’s running scared alright.
Obama backed out of the North Carolina debate, I mean.
Lets look at the democRAT Presidential candidate of CHANGE/HOPE per FR oxycon:.
He "hopes" no one notices when he quotes anti-white lines from movies while speaking to mostly black audiences.
He "hopes" no one notices when he uses gangsta rap gestures which reference misogynistic lyrics..
He "hopes" no one notices when he says he took no DC lobbyist money he didn't include Nadhmi Auchi..
He "hopes" no one notices that he is completely comfortable hanging out with America hating bigots..
He "hopes" no one notices that his political career shows very little accomplishments that he can call his own..
He "hopes" that he can continue to run a gutter/negative attack campaign against Hillary and no one will notice. Audacity, baby!
Green Eggs and Ham.
Well for this, she has earned a bit of my respect.
This might be entertaining. Particularly if they were armed with pies.
Have Bill Cosby do his “Toss of the Coin” routine with this.
That would be funny.
Hill sez: “We’ll set whatever rules seem fair”, but she can’t even play by the rules of her own party’s primary. If I was Barack, I wouldn’t believe her. She lies so, you know.
SOUTH BEND, IND. -- Hillary Clinton challenged Barack Obama to another debate today, and this time she says they should ditch the moderators. Heres my proposal, Clinton said. Im offering Senator Obama a chance to debate me one-on-one, no moderators. Just the two of us.Source.Ever since Obama took repeated hits at an ABC News debate in Pennsylvania over a week ago, his campaign has been claiming that the moderators unfairly targeted him, possibly costing him votes there. You know, after the last debate in Philadelphia, Senator Obamas supporters complained a little bit about the tough question, Clinton said. Tough questions in a debate are nothing compared to the tough questions you get asked when you are president.
Over the last few days, Clinton has challenged Obama to debates in North Carolina, Indiana and Oregon. She said she would like to see an Abraham Lincoln-Frederick Douglas style debate, where the two traveled around Illinois debating one-on-one.
Not allowing the news media to control the political process .... what a radical idea.
Without moderators? Are these people CRAZY?
Neither one of them can go on stage without scripting the whole dialogue. The moderator is there to A) Keep both of them on topic; and B) make sure the next question fed to them has been thoroughly vetted for hidden implications and checked out before a focus group.
Of course, a moment of truth may accidently be tossed out there, like an abandoned child, and without a moderator to swiftly redirect the attention of the audience, an incalculable amount of damage to either or both of the participants may be inflicted.
This stuff is HARD, fellahs.
He would be a fool to do it. All he has o do is keep his mouth shut and the nomination is his.
obama should issue a counter-challenge for a waffle eating contest
