The Clintons are ready to tear their party up -- including making it impossible for Sen. Barack Obama to get elected president -- the way Rep. James Clyburn tells it.

While Obama himself has maintained that whatever breach is opened in the Democratic primaries by his contest with Hillary Clinton can be repaired once the Democrats have a presidential nominee, Clyburn, a political power in South Carolina and majority whip in the U.S. House, maintains that Bill Clinton is plowing Obama and the Democratic Party under in the interest of electing Hillary Clinton.

"I was sharing with the reporter the things that have been said to be,'' Clyburn said last night on MSNBC, in a talk with Keith Olbermann on Countdown about interviews that he has given in recent days, "I have gotten a lot of mail from people, telephone calls.

"I was on the campus of a university (where) the excitement was great back in January and February,'' Clyburn told Olbermann. "Now they seem to be feeling that the graybeards are positioning themselves to overturn the will of the people, these superdelegates - they don't quite understand what the superdelegates are.

"They think we're waiting in the closet somewhere to snatch this nomination away and so that's a feeling that people have got.''

The one thing the Black Community should learn from this experience, if it happens, is that the Clintons are in this game for their own ambitions and only their ambitions and the Black Community, the DNC and any other consideration are no more than distant, minor considerations to them.

It should also be noted that the Democratic Party itself encouraged and enabled this pair on their rampage across American politics and thus have a hand in the crap the Clintons have pulled on Obama and his supporters. The Clintons and the Democrats want your votes and NOTHING MORE and if you don't like that, TOUGH! Question is: Will the Black Community learn this or will they allow the Clintons and the Dems to put their "We care about you" masks back on and pretend this never happened? We shall see.
