It sounds to me like that’s already happening and all the people who are able are getting out. I’m sure there are still many who are remaining in “safe” cililized enclaves but the smart people know what the future will bring. By the way, how many conservatives beside yourself are in California? Out of a population of 34 million there must be at least a million?!

TIJUANA, Mexico (Reuters) - Fifteen Mexican drug gang members were killed in a gun battle near the U.S. border on Saturday, their bodies soaked in blood in the road after one of the deadliest shootouts in Mexico’s three-year-long narco-war.

Rival factions of the local Arellano Felix drug cartel in Tijuana on the Mexico-California border fought each other with rifles and machine guns in the early hours of the morning, police said.......

I left San Diego, Mexifornia 14 years ago because the writing was on the wall. San Diego was slowly being turned into Tijuana. If it weren’t for the military presense in that town it would already be Tijuana.

I was born in Los Angeles, but I’ll never go back to that state.
