To: Kurt Evans

I listened to Dr. Keye’s speech, Kurt. I agree with him on every single point. He is a powerful and brilliant speaker with a knowledge and love of our Constitution and our country that no other candidates have. He has the potential to be a great president but for one thing;

He needs a dose of humility.

I supported Keyes the last time he ran. After Bush won, though, I was glad. They are both excellent men of character, but I realized that Bush has a quiet humility that is necessary for a man in a position of such power. If Keyes could learn that ONE thing.... I watched his short-lived tv show, and I realized that he exhibited a bit more than a little arrogance. It may not have been arrogance at all - it may have just been that he is so knowledgable - but it came across that way.

That lack of humility in Hitlary and Obama (one of the MANY things wrong with them!) actually scares me the most. I see nothing but blind ambition and a longing for power in both of them. I see arrogance and a total lack of humility in both of them.

I don’t know what I’m going to do in the general election. I may still look at Keyes, but I doubt it. I am one of the many that he described as “looking for a home”, yet I am loathe to help split the vote and hand a victory to the dems. That can’t happen. I’m one of the many who might have to hold my nose and vote for the RINO. (Though it sickens me to say it!)

Finally, in his speech, I don’t remember him addressing the war in Iraq. Isn’t the Constitution Party in favor of pulling us out? I want to know what he thinks about that? Putting us out now would be a disaster. He talks about the attack on our sovereignty by illegal aliens. What about the Islamic threat? That is the great battle in our time, as far as I’m concerned.

Keyes has no duty to feign uncertainty where there is none. He speaks with faith, clarity and certainty. We should welcome that in a President.

If you choose to hold your nose and vote for the RINO, then you are part of the problem. As long as we allow fear to guide us, not faith, we will continue to suffer under “leaders” like McCain.
