Ah, but you present here a false dichotomy, and a false choice.

The false choice is the one between the socialist with the (R), and the socialist with the (D).

You see, our next president will be either McCain or Obama, and no one else. Those are our real choices here.

There you go again.

And McCain at least recognizes that first we must secure our borders.

Yeah, riiight. And the day after the border s sealed, 30m Illegals become voting citizens. That is called "closing the barn door after the horse got out".. er.. "in"... well, you get the point.

While McCain was working on "comprehensive immigration reform", something we all opposed, Obama was leading the effort to get a far more liberal version of the bill passed, that gave priority to chain migration over merit based migration.

So what? With a 30m strong voting block, chain migration is an inevitability. Anything above the existing 30m is after the fact.

Electing Obama over McCain would make the problem worse, much much worse, not better.

Not a dime's worth of difference.
