Sorry... I thought you would oppose the use of ED by private enterprises.

If I want to build a windmill to offer electricity to your neighborhood, I should be able to have the same power of eminent domain as the government in taking your home? It does offer the perfect spot for my windmill project. :-)

Was this post intended for me?

I am opposed to the taking of private property for private enterprise.

I am opposed to the taking for public use but I understand that is necessary.

And if you want to build a windmill build it in Ted Kennedy's yard, I'm sure he wouldn't mind. :-)
