McCain? I'm not so sure.
Is McCain likely to appoint somebody who might overturn his signature piece of legislation -- McCain-Feingold?
I doubt it.
In fact, there is reason to believe that McCain's appointments to SCOTUS would not be significantly different than Obama's or Hillary's.
With every day that goes by, it becomes more obvious that McCain is not only "not a friend of conservatives", he may well be "an enemy of conservatives".
McCain already said no litmus test for his SCOTUS picks including CFR. He said the only criterion was a strict constructionist who will interpret and not legislate from the bench.
