I was in my office lunch room when CNN announced the acquital. Almost all the people in the room were black. One of the guys yelled out, “I’ll bet it won’t be 30 seconds before we see Al Sharpton on the camera.” Sure enough, Sharpton came out center stage. They all started laughing and jeering.
They’ve got his number.
I don’t know who Ilya is, but he/she is right in one respect.....
In every single case where police have to use force or there are injuries to citizens caused by them...you can be sure that they will embellish the facts to protect themselves. Some of the stuff is pretty creative. There is some real creative writing talent in some of these police reports.
If he said that then he is. None of the police reports say that any of the police officers were hit by the car once, much less twice. The only thing hit was a police van. The car ran into it as the police were firing into it.
In his rush to escape the gun toting dude charging at him, he should have noticed the little Municipal tag on the bottom of the license plate of the van.
Now that the courts ‘legally’ cleared the cops of this situation, the family will more than likely go back to court and go for a civil suit. I hope the family gets NOTHING. They don’t deserved it.
