Dems Face Outsiders' Dirty Tricks.Mudslinging begins from the Sidelines

With North Carolina and Indiana taking center stage in the political slugfest between Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, the next critical primaries could be shaped by political dirty tricks from outside their campaigns.

Already, the North Carolina Republican Party has bucked the wishes of the GOP's presumptive nominee, Arizona Sen. John McCain, by buying a TV ad that reminds voters - for what seems like the 1,000th time - that Obama's longtime pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, has made some controversial comments regarding America's role in slavery and the Sept. 11 attacks.

The ad, which is the first known to use Wright as ammunition in the 2008 presidential race, isn't even an anti-Obama spot - at least not on its face - but presumably is aimed at two North Carolina Democratic candidates for governor. "Now, Bev Perdue and Richard Moore endorse Barack Obama," the ad states, in a reference to the state's lieutenant governor and state treasurer. "They should know better. He's just too extreme for North Carolina."

And independent efforts to "swift boat" Obama already have sprung up. A group called ExposeObama.com began sending out e-mails this week such as, "President Barack Hussein Obama ... the scariest four words in the English language!"

Ugly stuff, but it might be a permanent part of the picture with just two weeks to go until the May 6 primaries in Indiana and North Carolina following Clinton's 10-point win in Pennsylvania.

If the false messiah is the rat nominee, you might as well get ready for a long six and a half months because this is only the beginning. Every time anything negative is said about Barry's character, policies, plans, or dinner arrangements it will be because the people who discuss these things are “racists” as pointed out by all the his sycophants within the media.

I honestly believe that Obama may in many respects may seriously set race relations back in this country. This will be done by playing the race card at every possible opportunity. This could really backfire on the rats because if the “magic negro” is supposed to be the great “uniter”, how do you unite people be claiming to be continually oppressed because of your race? This will get old with a lot of people real fast. He already has problems attracting “typical white people.” This will only compound his troubles even if the rebuttals are done by his friends in the media and not by himself.

Notice in the finest Hermann Goehring tradition they never say that any of the statements made in any of these ads are not true. Rather, they are “swift-boating.” Lets hear them address the basis of the charges rather than calling them unfair attacks. I guess they never heard the saying, “All’s fair in love and politics.” The thought of Barry Hussein Obambi facing off against Iran, Russia or the Chicoms is enough to scare even the most hardcore former SDSer or Weatherman. But then again, this is what they want. History shows that weaker leaders are far more likely to start wars than stronger leaders.

This is the same tactic that Kerry used against the SBVT in 2004. He didn’t address the charges until it was too late. Even then, he never disproved the charges.

Obama has been damaged and the above statement will allow the blame to be placed on Republicans when the super delegates throw him under the bus. At least that's the message they will convey to their base as an attempt to hold their party together by making their base angry with republicans rather than Hillary/party bosses, and this article proves that many in the media will happily promote that message for them.

I love the ad the NC republicans have, but they should have waited a couple of months before running it.
