Hopefully the food quality of Wendy’s won’t drop to that of Arby’s.

Arby's has some damn good roast beef sandwiches, almost as good as what USED to be served at the now dead and buried Roy Rogers Roast Beef Sandwich Restaurants

"Hopefully the food quality of Wendys wont drop to that of Arbys."I love Arby's. It's the only fast food type "restaurant" I'll buy anything from.

Hopefully the food quality of Wendys wont drop to that of Arbys. Not that any fast "food" is quality food, but Arby's has vastly improved its quality from the time of rubber "roast beef" on a bun. I stopped for the first time in about 15 years at an Arby's within the last year and was pleasantly surprised.

Hopefully the food quality of Wendys wont drop to that of Arbys. It's not their quality I mind, the reuben type stuff is quite good and the old fashioned roast beef sandwiches are OK. It's the prices that kill you. Unless you are doing the five for five sort of thing, it costs 25-30 bucks to feed a family. May as well go to Applebees, or just go home and make wiener-water soup.

No kidding.....really disturbing news.

Either the portions go down or the price goes up. The consumers pay the price of the acquisition. Sometimes these buyouts make no sense.

I used to love Wendys. The food quality has gone way downhill. And I can’t even eat there french frys any more. They are just horrible since they went to the new oil. They smell like dead fish, and taste gross. Burgers are smaller, and they taste so greasy. Yuk. They already have gone downhill. I bet it get worse now.

Agreed. I may be sacreligious but Wendy's does have better burgers. Plus Dave Thomas ... he was a great spokesperson (and owner/founder). I've always enjoyed Wendy's, White Castle and Krystal for their burgers ... if they weren't around then McDonalds, What-a-Burger or Burger King.

I'm with you on that. I enjoy a Wendy's #6 combo from time to time. I haven't been able to handle eating Arby's for years.

I can’t believe I just read ‘food quality’ and ‘Wendys’ in the same sentence.
