Nah ... the cops these days are way to smart when it comes to avoiding charges of police brutality.

Much better to loudly announce his arrival in the precinct "tank" by saying "This is the guy who beat the cr*p out of a crippled little girl" and then have the guards on tank-duty decide its time for their coffee and donut break.
