Do you remember the lefty professor who read a poem she wrote at the event held a few days after the VA Tech shootings? As I recall there was complete agreement here that it was absolutely awful.

She is one of Tech's distinguished professors. Now get this. Not only does she lack a doctorate, she doesnt even have a masters degree.

That's how bad it is in academia today. If you strike the right chord with the powers that be (read--are appropriately off the wall lefty) its amazing how far you can go.
