See below.....it’s not just connections with Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Rev. Wright, etc. Obama has been “instructor and consultant” for a far-left consortium of social change organizations called the Gamaliel Foundation.
This is an explicit affiliation chosen by Obama, for which he was so involved that they utilized him as Instructor and Consultant. He is a true believer and this is a very radical outfit, which lists the fanatical ACORN as one of its five principal “partners”..... we need to get more FReeper research on Gamaliel and associated groups into the hands of talk radio hosts, other media, etc.
Obama is the most far-left candidate ever for a major political party — only Henry Wallace, Roosevelt’s one-term VP, might rival Obama as a far-out collectivist/socialist weenie.
Gamaliel, for which Obama has been an Instructor and Consultant, is a radical, collectivist, socialist project based in churches (ala Rev. Jeremiah Wright). Their “vision” of America is remarkably similar to that of Rev. Wright. Obama cannot possibly maintain the fiction that he was unaware of the more radical and outrageous types of statements from Rev. Wright because the whole purpose of Gamaliel is to radically transform the evil racist American society:

Segregation and racism are one of the primary and driving forces inside American politics, culture and society. Racism fuels the current injustice and the current political reality we experience every day. Racism is masked and concealed inside a system of spatial segregation. Racism ultimately says that not only am I not my brothers’ and sisters’ keeper, but that they are not my brothers and my sisters.

We believe that we are called to participate in the democratic process, in shaping a future that works for all of us. The transformation of the soul of our country, our democracy, is both a political project and a spiritual project. It requires a body of people willing to live, to act, to project a new way of being. Our faith is a path to a new way of being: spiritually and politically.
Gamaliel exists to effect the systemic changes necessary to advance the values we have claimed, and to that end, to form organizations that empower ordinary people to effectively participate in the political, environmental, social and economic decisions affecting their lives.
In tracking down Obama’s affiliations I came upon material about the radical Gamaliel Foundation of community organizers (Obama has been “Instructor and Consultant” for them) - then saw in one of my searches that you had both discussed it too. Their website is mostly pretty vague stuff about “organizing” (for change, of course) but there are enough statements there to make it clear that they are an Alinsky-style entity growing out of far-left post-60s radicalism.
