Bump
My kids and I thank every soldier and veteran we come across. The soldiers we thank alway show appreciation...most of the vets do too...but there is the occasional one who throws a temper fit about how they are not proud of what they did, and how the soldiers of today should be ashamed of themselves.
I just shake my head, remind them that it was their service and that of today’s soldiers that assures them the right to express that opinion and walk away from them.
I don’t agree. In my parents day people were locked up for committing assault and battery at events such as this. Today people one one side are given a free pass for this behavior, but those of us who counter protest these moonbats are held to a different standard.
Murtha territory?!?! That explains alot.
Well said and right on!
A similar topic pinged earlier. Have a great day all.
That explains a lot!....and here I thought they were Rendell paid thugs. Anti-marine Murtha paid thugs & cowed pink most likely!
