Crowd??? I've seen no numbers posted as to the size of the "crowd", but considering the population of Edinboro is around 7000 I can't imagine it was all that huge.
I wonder if the young man would have been assaulted if he had stayed on the opposite side?

If my family was black and I refused to send my teenage son into a crowd of sheet wearing assh@oles, would I be sheeple then too? Or would I just be prudent? The people doing the assaulting were wrong as hell, and I support their incarceration but you DO NOT send your child into a situation like this. Would you support a family sending their prebuscent son into the middle of a NAMBLA meeting? If they refused to, are they sheeple or somehow cowardly?

A kid should be able to be free enough to stand on any street corner safely....but you have to know your surroundings and whether it’s a smart thing to do.
A 14 year old doesn’t have the horse sense to know that going into a crowd of unwashed, ill mannered, and 99% of the time, mentally unstable group of liberal anti war/anti America rabble with a video camera is a bad idea.
His/her parents, on the other hand should know better.
It’s not about what the kid SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO IN A FREE COUNTRY, it’s about what you CAN do in this country and reasonably expect to come out unscathed. That’s why we have the police.....because life ain’t fair and shit walks around every day free to wreck havoc on the good folk.
