The tin miners in Bolivia had a violent strike two years ago when Evo tried to send his goons to take over the mines. He is not against mining, just against letting anyone other than the gov’t getting any of the profits. Four of the nine districts in his country are trying to become autonomous because this guy wants to nationalize everything.
