Thanks to a lot of hard work on the part of a lot of campaign volunteers and Peg Luksik’s organizational and team building skills, it looks like we are back on the ballot. Thank you all for all the enthusiasm, phone calls, footwork, and prayers. It would not have been possible without you! We needed 1000 votes to be listed on the ballot for the General Election in November.

Hopefully Quinn and Rose (radio talkers out of Pittsburgh) pick up on this and get behind him 100%. They had Diana Orey on their show numerous times in 2006 and did fund raisers for her. I’m sure they’ll try to push Mr. Russell.
Sadly, I listened to Q and R this morning, and I could have missed it, but you would think they’d be all over this.
If a retired Marine colonel with $600k and little GOP support can knock off an incumbent mayor of a major metropolitan area with much deeper pockets (Indianapolis), then I think Lt Col Russell has a distinct shot.
