I wonder what the sanitation, water, electricity, indoor plumbing, corruption, situation is in Tijuana compared to LA? I wonder if the average LA cop and municipal worker is corrupt?

Los Angeles hasn’t devolved to the level of Tijuana yet, but give it time. Rome wasn’t demolished in a day.

Some of these posters need to travel to some real third world cities and countries. Flies everywhere, dead animals in what passes for roads, mud everywhere if it is in a wet climate and people living in anything available.

I was just in Jamaica and all though it isn't quite a cesspool, it is poor all over. The wealthy section of Montego Bay is only about 5% of the city, the rest is small houses with wooden shutters, no glass. I did notice that even the smallest house had bars on the doors and windows.
