You seem to have a reading comprehension problem. I gave you a link to an article about the gang and racial wars going on in LA. This is more than just crime rates, which don't tell the whole story.
There is no doubt that statistically Richmond has a higher crime rate per capita than LA. Of course LA's population is 3,879,455 compared to Richmond's 195,708. If you compare LA to NYC, LA has a much higher crime rate per capita with almost twice the murder and forcible rape rates.
The bottom line is that LA is becoming a third world city due to a huge influx of immigrants, legal and illegal. The gap between rich and poor, failing schools, increased welfare rolls, corruption, and out of control gangs mark a city in decline.
Racial war?

Here is a very simple question for ya.
If there is a racial war in LA, Cal, why is it that almost ever single major city outside of California has higher per capita violent crime than Los Angeles?
