The drums are a dumb idea. They are not indigenous to the area and are annoying. JMHO.

.....I live several hours up the Parkway in Ashe County,NC and haven’t heard about this....they’re drumming on the square now???....when did this start?....is Buncombe going New Age or what?....I haven’t been to Ashville in a decade at least but I hear it’s really getting crowded now.
