The last thing the GOP should be doing is getting behind someone who leans left.
We don’t need any more Jeffords or Arnolds.

Republicans have to win by 10% to counter any fraud.

The last thing the GOP should be doing is getting behind someone who leans left. I agree. Not sure about other male FReepers but this FReeper "dresses" right.

Not necessarily. New Orleans was a big source of Democratic votes in the past.
With a number of Democratic voters chosing to live other parts of the country, New Orleans does not have the political impact it once had in Louisiana...

Maybe give him a fighting chance? He swims against the current: maybe not all Kennedy’s are evil...?

Very misleading headline to say the least. This Kennedy is a GOP member and will be facing a challenge from a Democrat incumbent not one from the GOP. The “GOP challenge” the title refers to is apparently the fact that this particular Kennedy recently switched to the GOP and does not have strong Republican credentials. Besides being worded in a hopelessly confusing fashion, this “challenge” is barely mentioned in the article itself. Come on people, this is basic high school journalism, the title should represent the main idea of a story, not the sidebar idea that was on the author’s mind at the time they picked their title - Sheesh don’t editors even look at what’s submittted to them any more?

Unfortunately, the majority of Massachusetts voters would never even consider voting against Ted Kennedy. To the “Massachusetts Moonbat Majority”, Senator Ted Kennedy is a God, and he will truly keep his seat until he either officially retires from politics or until he dies in office. Sigh.
