He needs a tiny, fly-speck, drop of protein and water (compared to the infinite vastness of the universe)to worship him? I dont get it.
He created you. He knew you before you were even conceived or thought of. You exist because of His mercy and compassion. You can be saved and pardoned from your sins because He died in your place, taking on the penalty of your own genetic flaw, i.e., sin.
Why? Because [John 3:16] "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting Life."
The story of human history is underlined with human rebellion and sin against God, and as a sinless God, He cannot tolerate sin in His Presence. So in order to reconcile us individually to Him, He manifested Himself in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, Who lived a perfectly sinless life, and by the Law, did not have to die (i.e., "the wages of sin is death"). But Jesus laid down His life for us, shed His own Blood in place of our own, and that is why we should worship Him, for creating us, for loving us, for caring for us, for tolerating us instead of just snuffing us out, and then dying for us so that we might Live through Him.
That's what it's all about in capsule form.

sorry, been off the computer all day.
Interesting, but it still doesn’t answer my question. Does god NEED to be worshiped. Does HE need it, and if so, will he take it out on you if you don’t. Is he the type that syas look at all I’ve done for you...you MUST bow down to me...That’s what I’m saying. It doesn’t make sense that an all-powerful all-knowing god would need that that from us. He’s gotta be too busy creating stars and black holes and whatever else he does...
Besides, there’s a billion Chinese running around that have never heard of Jesus. Are they in trouble for not getting the memo? Some kooks on this site say they are.
