Justice Dept. to monitor Pa. primary

PHILADELPHIA, April 21 (UPI) -- The U.S. Justice Department says it will monitor voting in Philadelphia during Pennsylvania's presidential primary election Tuesday.

The federal monitors will be deployed to try to ensure compliance with federal voting rights laws, the Justice Department said in a news release Monday. The monitoring arises from an April 2007 agreement with the city that settled allegations Philadelphia had violated the Voting Rights Act and the National Voter Registration Act, the statement said.

A Civil Rights Division attorney will coordinate the monitoring and maintain contact with local election officials, the Justice Department said. Among other requirements, the city is obligated to provide all election information, ballots and voting assistance information in Spanish.

Such monitoring is fairly common, the department noted, with more than 1,500 observers and other personnel watching 119 elections in 24 states in 2006.

Elections in the "City of Brotherly Love" rival anything coming out of a third world country. The fraud is so pervasive and has been going on for so long that it's to the point that no one even trys to hide it any more. The "walking around money" provided by all of the false messiah's sycophants will be flowing like milk and honey through the city streets today!

Be curious to see if Obama's people made any inroads to the Rendell/Hillary fraud base

Purple fingers work, that would slow the fraud down to merely ten fraudulently cast votes at least...

Should be interesting! Philly is Rendell territory, but also predominantly black.

Here in “typically white” rural PA, Ron Paul signs outnumber Obama and Hillary signs combined. Go figure.

I live in Bucks Co. which is just north of Philly. Have already voted for the beast. It was funny because they were handing out voter reregistration cards for any one who wanted them when I left. “Operation Chaos” at work.

It would seem to me from what was mentioned in the article the feds are more concerned with making sure all of our illegal “friends” understand what’s on their fraudulent ballots they will be casting rather than making sure that the dead and the convicted felons don’t vote.

I live next to the voting place, our local volunteer firehouse.

I haven’t voted yet. I may pull the lever for Ron Paul, just as a protest against McCain.

I’ll have to hold my nose in the general election, but I see no need to do so today.

As luck would have it, Huckabee is still on the ballot.

So I didn’t have to vote for John or Ron.
