And I was disgusted at having to pay $3.35 /gallon this week. And I probably could’ve found it for even less if I’d felt like bothering.

Can anybody please tell me what passage in the OT that Speaker Pelosi is talking about?

We enacted bipartisan legislation that increases the efficiency of appliances and lighting and boosts fuel efficiency standards for cars and trucks for the first time in 32 years. I love the way empty headed liberals think circumventing the laws of physics and forcing technological breakthroughs is simply a matter of legislation. Why not just legislate cars that get 1000 miles to the gallon off any liquid?

It seems to me that the Speaker of the House is guilty of a gross violation of the separation of church and state. By stating that ministering to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship she has identified all activity that may fall under that category as worship, worship which she has undertaken as a congresswoman, and which she is calling upon US citizens to join. I believe the ACLU should demand a retraction of that evangelistic statement by the speaker of the house.

More evidence that global warming is religious dogma to these nutjobs.
All hail the lord highfather Algore.

To minister to the needs of Gods creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us Except in Pelosi's case this applies only to dirt worship not abortion.

I thank God for the kindness that he showed by giving man such a wonderful, renewable resource.

Yeah, a 'statement'. I bet if the word 'God' would actually come out of her mouth, her head would spin on it's stump, the Potomac would run red and boil over, and she'd fart volcanic gas.
Here is something to consider (and please do NOT take this as a thread hijacking, which it isn't, but merely a piece of the puzzle, as it were). When Joel Osteen dedicated his new church building down in Houston a couple years ago, TBN broadcast it live on a special "Praise the Lord" program. (Why I decided to watch, I'm not really sure now. maybe I was bored.) As I sat watching, I got a huge shock.
Guess who was an invited guest, interviewed by Matt Crouch on TBN before the ceremony, and acknowledged during the ceremony? Yep. Congresswoman (not yet Speaker) Nancy Pelosi-(D) California. She had some very complimentary things to say about God, faith, and Christians in general. I sat on the edge of my chair, stunned beyond all belief.
Was it a smokescreen? Possibly. Was she lying through her teeth? Could be.
Or maybe, just maybe, deep in that black, traitorious, and communistic heart of hers, she knows that there is a God?
Stranger things have happened.

LOL...I love the earth a much as anyone, but this arrogance that human beings are somehow even remotely capable of ending the world with pollution and subsequent “climate change” is extremely irritating.
NOW I see we have Newt Gingrich on TV pairing with Nancy Pelosi selling this idiocy about the planet in peril. Another one was Al Sharpton and Pat Robertson agreeing that we should be good stewards blah blah blah...which we are...of course; but not to the point of such absurd idiocy!
I know a liberal family that recycles glass, plastics, etc. I pointed out that the trash truck comes, the bottle truck, the plastics truck...IN FACT, so many trucks are running up and down the streets in their neighborhood that more pollution is being spewed into the air around them than my neoghborhood which isn’t doing the recycling programs!
Kinda fun to watch the color drain out of a liberal’s ace I must admit! };-)
Glenn Beck pointed out the liberal elitist in line when asked paper or plastic huffingly says “well paper of course” oblivious to the fact that it was these very elitist liberals calling for plastic to “save the trees” IN THE FIRST PLACE!

You know, I saw the Newt ad last night. I think it's safe to say Newt has officially jumped the shark.
I didn't read Jurassic Park, but I believe Michael Creighton had a paragraph in the book that Rush had Charlton Heston read years ago. To paraphrase it said that no matter what we did, man couldn't remotely change or destroy the planet. I wish he'd run that in a radio spot.
