I need to open up a Cuban restaurant around these parts. I miss getting a Cuban sandwich back in SoFla.

You can buy them in Key West and in Sarasota. Yummy.

Thanks for the idea. When you are down here go to eight street and find a place called SARUSSI. They make the best and most unique sandwich in MIA!

Where is "these parts?" There used to be ONE restaurant here in the KC area that had them... "El Caribe," by Lenexa City Hall. It was a great place to eat... Cuban sandwich, fried plantain chips, and conch fritters. But the ownership changed, and now it's a cross between a Jamacan and Mexican restaurant. And they got rid of the cuban sandwichs and conch fritters, though I believe they still have the plantains.
