I definitely think Rush is right on this one, a couple of months ago I would have been pleased to have Barack Obama get rid of the Clintons and even though I knew he wasn't serious about unity he wasn't Bush bashing as much as the Clinton's or Edwards as hypocrits.
But with his wife, Rev Wright, Bill Ayers, Louis Farrakhan, Rezko, Chicago corrupt politcal machine including Mayor Daley, Nation of Islam members on his staff and the bitter comment about religious, small town gun owners and people fed up with illegal aliens.
He must be defeated, do I think Hillary will support our issues know, but the whole country knows who she is and many people haven't seen Barack act upon his true beliefs and only see him as something new.
He's got the same old leftist ideas with some new bad ones plus the based on past performance he will bring in characters like Rev Wright and Bill Ayers into government which will be there for years. Plus they will brand any critic as a racist once the general starts.
Drama gets you nowhere.
and Clinton is not out, and has not yet lost.
The Clintons are down, and now we apply the KO punch.
Then you turn to deal with Obama.
And stop being such a sissy about him.
If the GOP cannot defeat a liberal leftist loon like Obama in the general, then it can't beat my cat.
Do you think that he is going to just fade away from the National scene without being beaten by us?
> If she loses now, she will resign her Senate seat right after the first of the year
Just to bring up a point, they said the exact same thing about Ted Kennedy during his bruising battle with Jimmah Carter for the democrat nomination.
How did that play out?
She is going nowhere at all and being a liberal in a blue state, she has power for life without barely having to worry about elections.
Vote for Hillary!
“and Clinton is not out, and has not yet lost.”
She is down 150 delegates and losing super-delegates.
She is toast and has been since February.
“The Clintons are down, and now we apply the KO punch.”
Completely unnecessary, the Democrats are doing it. Obama is a lock as the nominee.
“Then you turn to deal with Obama.”
“You”? We are powerless in the face of Obama’s $200 million and a compliant pro-Obama media. McCain doesnt have much money. This is about making enough noise to FORCE the pro-Obama media to give it airplay.
The Hillary-Obama extended race has been a GODSEND ... IF Obama wrapped it up early March we would NOT have had Rev Wright for 2 weeks, we would NOT have had “crackerquiddick” and we would NOT have had the Ayers connection aired.
It’s not that we didn’t know about this - heck, I know about the afro-centric church last summer - it’s that the media would NOT TOUCH THESE STORIES unless and until Clinton campaign made enough stink on it and got media play on it.
Voting for Obama is cutting your own throat because its stopping the best thing the GOP has going for it right now - a bloody Democrat primary.
“And stop being such a sissy about him.”
Stop being a drama queen.
His defeat is not inevitable.
” If the GOP cannot defeat a liberal leftist loon like Obama in the general,” ... yeah, that’s why leftist loon Ted Strickland is not a Governor. And that’s why Jimmy Carter was never elected. Loons like that never win. Right.
“The weaker of two evils should win that nomination, so that hes less likely to win in November, and if he does win in November, hell do less damage to the country.”
Obama will be more damaging to this country than any president in our lifetimes. He is more leftwing and worse than even Hillary. The leftists know that and they are flocking to Obamessiah for that reason. Also, as of right now, Obama is more electable. By your own metric, you should probably vote Hillary.
Finally, someone who GETS IT. Obama's base CANNOT be dissed!
Thank you. That sounds so much better. I am going to look.
I’m still voting for Obama. His gaffes are more entertaining. Latest polls here have the Hildebeast up comfortably. I will check the last poll tomorrow morning. I MIGHT vote for the delegates identified as pledged to her if it looks like she is in any trouble, but I definitely want Obama to win the precious popular vote so there are riots in Denver when Hillary does what Clintons do.
Forget about the prognostications about her having a 5 or 10 percent chance of the nomination. She always had a 30% chance at a minimum and if she wins PA>10%, it is back to 50/50!
This “pro-Hillary to split the Dems” is nonsense. Would we give the Germans at the Battle of the Bulge more gas so they can fight longer and get more Germans killed!?!?!?!?!
This is idiocy. Rush is a GREAT entertainer, RealPolitics (elective politics) is VERY different from Cause Politics and he is WAY over his head here.
If Obama loses nomination, Blacks will be P.O.ed for 10 days, then enthusiastically support the candidate that will give them the most money in “entitlements” just as they have since LBJ and just as Jessie tells them to.
This idiocy could cost us the general election.

I'm thinking that you are correct - Obama will not burn the bridge if he's somehow given the boot and Hillary/Obama will come up with a ton of programs for blacks, specifically and minorities in general. Obama is the way better candidate to run against. He's left of left, practically in the socialist column and no resume.
What Rush has done is equal to a dirty trick and if it were turned around, conservatives would be very unhappy campers.
This is all fun and games right now. It’s been fun to watch the left tear each other apart. I just wish I knew if they hated each other enough so that the won’t share the same ticket.
Not sure why this is targeted at me, I have never said one iota about Rush, or care about him or whatever he’s up to.
Unfortunately, you sir, do not have a clue.
I’ll simply ignore your total lack of understanding of what is happening in American politics. - Have a good day.
Sorry ‘bout that!
PUH LEEEEZE!
Operation Chaos is not concerned with the differences between two leftist pukes. It is solely about monkey wrenching the Rats into chaos and disgrace.
Read up Bunky.
So did Kerry, so did Gore.
Point is, Obama cannot win and Hillary will try to steal it.
Could be. I'm just going by what I see on the ground here in PA. I see much more passion for Obama than I saw for Kerry or Gore or see now for Hillary Clinton - Obama people out at grocery stores and street corners trying to register voters, college kids more involved than usual. Obama has much more money raised than Hillary. It's not going to be a cake walk against him. You are going to have those Hillary supporters who will vote for McCain, but you are going to have a whole group of other people who aren't being counted in that who will come out for Obama.
Again, just my own reading of my area of PA (Philly suburbs) - maybe I'm wrong. But nominee Obama scares me more than nominee Clinton.
Evidence? How Obama raises money--his zillions have come from small donations--his average donation is around $100. Remember Ronald Reagan and where his money came from? Joe Sixpacks.
I don't agree. He's less likely to win, IMO, and should he win, less likely to have the abilities it takes to push his agenda.
Don't forget Hillary Clinton is better known. Her popularity wouldn't sink like Obama's could, as new facts come to light.
Obama is, I believe, watered stock, and his high ratings artificial and temporary.
In any case, my first priority is to defeat the beast. She should not get any further in her quest for power.
Read Papa Bear comments, the goal is to keep it tight as a tick as Dan Rather would say. Make the decision tough for the superdelegates.
