Because Christianity is protected in our constitution. Further, there is no separation of church and state written anywhere in the constitution. The constitution simply states that the government shall not interfere with the church, make no law in rspect of the church.
separation of church and state is actually a connon law of the church, where the government runs the nations business, while the church runs it's business and is responsible for the morality of society.
Restricting the teaching of the bible in schools or public preaching of the bible is actually a violation of our constitution.
IT PROTECTS ALL RELIGIONS IN THIS COUNTRY!!!
And in Utah they can teach the Book of Mormon in the schools? The Quran in Detroit? The Book of the Divine Crystal Gaea Goddess in California?
And who gets to choose what bible they read from? The Catholics and Jehovah's Witnesses don't use the same King James version as most Protestants do.
